About
Instructors and trainers must have a working knowledge of adult learning concepts, curriculum design, and presentation skills to effectively provide knowledge transfer to adult students. This course will provide instructors and trainers with the necessary skills and tools to develop and present training for adult learners that is engaging, increases class participation, and appeals to the four adult learning styles. The goal is to increase retention resulting in improved practical applications in the field. This interactive course encourages input and questions from the students as well as participation in meaningful discussions. A key factor of adult learning is instructor-facilitated student generated self-learning. By using this method there will be an abundance of opportunities for students to share knowledge and personal experiences during the course. This will result in the students collectively learning from each other and the instructor. A course workbook will be provided for each student which will assist them to follow the course content and can be used to take notes.
